The wine: The vintage Confidentielle from Domaine Figuière is quite simply a great red wine from Provence. Its powerful aromatic combines aromas of ripe black fruits (cherry, blackberry, plum) with gourmet notes of toasted almonds and cocoa as well as intense spicy notes (pepper, licorice, garrigue). A high level of complexity therefore emerges from the whole, constructing a rich and harmonious aging cuvée to be resolutely paired with red meat. A top-notch Provencal delight!

The estate: While the Combard family hails from Burgundy, it is the Provence region that has been showcasing the winemaking talents of the siblings since 1992. Indeed, it was at this time that Alain Combard fell in love with the 18 hectares of Domaine Saint André de Figuière, which he then decided to purchase with a vision: to create great terroir rosés. His children Magali, Delphine, and François have since taken over, but the same vision remains. Now at the head of 87 hectares cultivated in organic farming, the siblings magnificently reveal the schist terroir of La Londe as well as the clay-limestone soils of their properties.
