The wine: Signature is a plot cuvée from old vines aged over 70 years offering a Cabernet-franc concentrated and with a silky texture. The palate evolves into intense black fruits, beautiful spices and has a nice amplitude as well as great length . A beautiful Loire bottle of appreciable character in its youth but also capable of improving over 10 years in the cellar!

The estate: Located in Cravant-les-Côteaux, in the heart of one of the most beautiful terroirs of the Chinon appellation, Fabrice Gasnier has been at the head of the eponymous estate since 1990, belonging to his family since the beginning of the 20th century. Covering 35 hectares of clay-limestone, siliceous and gravel soils, all of the vintages have been certified in Biodynamic Agriculture (Demeter) since 2008. More than 90% of production is dedicated to reds with Cabernet-franc as the sole grape variety. The harvest is manual and the vinification mainly carried out in concrete vats with some aging in oak barrels. The purity and depth of fruit in the family's wines prove the impeccable management of the estate's vines, producing extremely healthy grapes.
