The wine: The vintage Terre de Maimbray blanc is a favorite Sancerre of great aromatic depth. Lively and perfectly balanced, this delicious Sauvignon evolves into expressive fruity notes of peach, pear, apricot, citrus and gooseberry. A very elegant minerality also shines through, accompanied by a finish evoking a certain exoticism (lychee, mango). A magnificent bottle that won us over and which will go ideally with seafood, fish and salads!

The estate: Located in Maimbray, to the northwest of the pretty village from Sancerre, the domaine Pascal and Nicolas Reverdy is one of the best estates in the appellation. Since 1985, Pascal Reverdy has been at the head of the estate. Joined by his brother in 1993, he died tragically in 2007, his shares then going to his wife Sophie. Today, Pascal's children, Victorien and Benjamin, are also participating in the adventure. The family owns 17 hectares (12 of Sauvignon and 5 of Pinot noir) growing mainly on clay-limestone terroirs here called "white lands". The wines produced are of great precision and do honor to the region with pure, precise and elegant aromatics.
