The wine: The Mittnacht Frères estate offers us here a very delicious, soft Gewurztraminer with a perfect balance ! The sweetness is indeed very right and we enjoy these delicious notes of exotic fruits pulling towards lychee, mango or even pineapple. A honeyed touch as well as a subtle spicy note mingle throughout and a beautiful minerality balances everything. Go for this cuvée without hesitation which will go wonderfully with foie gras, spicy Asian cuisine or even desserts!

The estate: Slocated in the village of Hunawihr, between Ribeauvillé and Riquewihr, the Mittnacht brothers estate extends over 11 hectares cultivated with passion by Marc, his wife Paule as well as their son André who joined them on the farm since 2021. The vines are here cultivated biodynamically since 1999 in order to produce local wines faithful to their environment. The magnificent work in winemaking carried out by the siblings only highlights, year after year, high quality plant material and constant attention to the vines. Purity, elegance and oily notes are the common markers of Rieslings while excellent Gewurztraminer, Sylvaner and Pinot Noir are also grown. Go for it, you won't be disappointed!
