The wine: This excellent Riesling from the Holderhurst area comes from very clayey soil mixing with limestone. This terroir contributes to the definition of this cuvée which has a beautiful minerality and a crunchy and generous fruitiness (yellow lemon, grapefruit) mingling with notes of pear and apricot. Everything is very justly balanced and coated in a beautiful solar body. A bottle offering a lot of pleasure with excellent value for money!

The estate: If the Boehler family has its roots in Molsheim (near Strasbourg) since at least 1650, the wine adventure only really began in the 18th century when Antoine Boehler acquired the first plot of vines still cultivated today by the siblings. Passed down from generation to generation, the vineyard took a new start in the 1970s, when the Boehlers decided to bottle their own production. Then, in the 90s, René Boehler took over from his parents and continued to develop the operation. Today, the latest generation is at work since Julien has been at the estate since 2016. Now at the head of 8 hectares, he initiated the conversion to organic farming in 2018 and 2021 will therefore be the first certified vintage. Discover their vintages honoring Alsatian grape varieties and terroirs!
