Today, overseeing 4 estates spread across the best appellations of the Côte de Beaune and the Côte Chalonnaise, Francine Picard, daughter of Michel Picard, created the property at the end of the 2000s, choosing this curious name in reference to the location of the estate, situated at the foot of the famous Montrachet hill (also known as Mont Chauve). With 35 hectares including many Premier Crus in Chassagne and the legendary Grands Crus on the Corton hill, the estate benefits from a magnificent heritage of vines to reveal these exceptional terroirs through precise vinification done in a parcel-based manner.In just a few years of existence and thanks to the extensive experience of the Picard family, Au Pied du Mont Chauve has already established itself among the very best estates in the region, and enthusiasts are not mistaken!
