The estate: It was in 1997 that Stéphane Ogier joins the family estate, rooted for seven generations on the slopes of Ampuis. By taking over from his father Michel, he chose to do precise work on his different terroirs in order to reveal the unique character of these places full of history. Over the years, the estate has exceeded the limits of the village with the desire to discover and enhance new terroirs. From his experience in Burgundy, Stéphane Ogier retains the taste for elegance and finesse, which has become characteristic of his wines. Now with 18 hectares (13 of Syrah and 5 of Viognier), he has been making wine since 2014 in an ultra-modern cellar and showcases the Rhône Valley through each of its vintages. Here, each plot is vinified separately in order to have the best possible understanding of the terroirs. A very big name from the Rhône Valley that you haven’t heard the last of!
