The wine: The vintage Anne-Sophie is a beautiful Roussette from domaine Quénard offering a greedy and brioche register supported by notes of citrus and white fruits (lemon, peach, pear). The natural acidity of the Altesse grape variety is perfectly tamed here by aging for 18 months, including 12 on lees in oak barrels in order to bring a nice substance to the mouth. A Savoyard favorite that will go perfectly with your aperitifs, scallops or fish!

The estate: If the Quénards are numerous in the village of Chignin, the wines of Jean-François and his daughter Anne-Sophie easily stand out for their quality. Out of a total of almost 18 hectares, 12 are planted with white varieties (notably Jacquère and Roussanne) and a little more than 5 with red varieties (Mondeuse, Gamay, Pinot noir, Persan). The whole is in the process of being converted to organic farming and the vinification of the vintages is very minimalist at the estate in order to let all the terroir express itself.
