The estate: Family estate created in 1932 by Isaac Muga and Aurora Caño, the Bodega Muga is today a true emblem of wine-growing Spain and more particularly of Rioja. Today the owner of 250 hectares (and also getting its supplies from 150 hectares of partner winegrowers), the estate is the only one in the country to have its own coopers, allowing it to perfectly master the breeding of its wines by adapting the types of wood and the toasting of the barrels to the personality of each wine. The Tempranillo grape variety is the star of the estate alongside Grenache, Mazuelo (Carignan) and Graciano for the reds.
