The appellation Grand Cru Clos de Vougeot is located in the commune of Vougeot and extends over 50 hectares, making this climate the largest Grand Cru in Burgundy. Due to its large size, the wines produced can be quite diverse, and it is therefore challenging to provide a definitive typicity of the wines produced. The Clos de Vougeot is bordered by small walls that define it and gently slopes at an altitude of around 250 meters. The cuvées produced are, in any case, magnificent expressions of the Pinot Noir grape variety and are best enjoyed after several years of aging.
