The AOC Grand Cru Charmes-Chambertin is located in the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin and covers approximately 28 hectares. Situated on a hillside, the clay-limestone soils and the excellent exposure of this Grand Cru allow for the production of Pinot Noirs with impressive power and great longevity. The wines generally require several years (or even decades) to reach their peak. An exceptional plot at the top of the Burgundian hierarchy!
