Buy AOC Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil wines

The AOC Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, close to the Bourgueil appellation, is located between the towns of Angers and Tours and is covers just over 1,000 hectares. The wines produced here are mainly reds and a few rosés, both made from cabernet-franc . The soils are mostly composed of sand and gravel as well as tuffeau (limestone). The cuvées produced generally express beautiful fruitiness supple and full of finesse, to the delight of lovers of the genre. On certain terroirs, the wines express more presence and character, which can then easily be kept for several years in the cellar, as is the case here with the Fondis cuvée from Clos des Quarterons.
