The spirit : This  superb carafe accompanied by a magnificent wooden box is composed Armagnacs aged for at least 20 years in oak barrels. The result is an exceptional spirit focused on notes of figs and raisins, vanilla and sweet spices with a great touch floral (violet). The house : Ffounded in 1680 and based in Angeac in Charente, the Guy Lhéraud house is a family business with  85 hectares of vines in the Crus of Cognac Petite Champagne but also in the Fins Bois and Grande Champagne. The Ugni blanc (very mainly), Colombard and Folle Blanche grape varieties are planted here on a  particularly calcareous terroir. Guy Lhéraud began has bottled his own spirits in the 1970s and today his son Jean-Charles is at the head of the distillery, producing a range of great finesse and precision..

In 1998, Guy Lhéraud bought Armagnacs Baron Gaston Legrand, a former producer in the Bas-Armagnac appellation. The good preservation of the historic buildings, cellars and stills is a guarantee of quality and thus allows the best vinification and excellent distillation of the grape varieties cultivated. Marked by excellence, all Baron Gaston Legrand Armagnacs are aged in typical Gascony oak barrels as well as Limousin black oak. The estate specializes in the production and refining of very fine vintage Armagnacs. In fact, you can find Armagnacs dating back to 1888 in the Lhéraud family's private cellar!
